I appreciate your call to move forward in a "rational manner" and am happy
to discuss any individual questions, concerns or future projects regarding
the website. That said... much of my contact with the IT group thus far has
been extremely antagonistic and beyond what you have seen in these emails
there have also been several instances of antagonism and threats made by
the "Leaders" of the IT group in separate personal conversations. At this
time I am not planning to come to any future IT meetings for these and
other reasons already discussed, coupled with the fact that the IT team
holds it's meetings at the same time as the General Assembly... which I
consider a priority to attend.
Any individuals planning to attend WebTeam meetings are encouraged to do so
as individuals and are asked to recognize that the WebTeam holds no
responsibility to IT as a group. I encourage anyone interested
in involving themselves in the website to come to the WebTeam meetings on
Tuesdays following the GA. You can find further information on the
Greg... thank you for the apology.
Bishop... thank you for the words of encouragement.
Boyd... please do not contact me again.
