I'm currently looking for a JSP developer (and should have some other stuff
in the months to come). From what I've learned of it, I think it'd be a
sweet gig. If you're interested, or might know someone who might be
interested in finding out a bit more let me know.

Near term tasks would involve requirements gathering and work with project
customers. The developer would be the initial developer on the project, and
would be responsible for taking it from inception and requirements to
deployment in a production, mission critical environment.

candidate skills include:

- 3-4 years J2EE experience, esp. JSP and JDBC
- experience working in and deploying to UNIX based environment
- shell scripting skills a strong plus
- Oracle DB experience a plus
-- the project is currently using JBoss and Oracle/SQL, and direct
experience with these technologies is a plus
- experience with XP practices including TDD, JUnit, mock objects, and
continuous integration
- experience with performance and integration testing
- experience with RUP or similar iterative object-oriented development
process
- strong object-oriented modeling and design skills
- strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
- Web services experience is a plus
